We Need 250 Turkeys and 250 Hams

We are asking the community to help provide 250 turkeys and 250 hams for homeless and hurting men, women, and children who will be attending the Durham Rescue Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Community Events.

The Thanksgiving Community Event for the homeless and hurting will be at noon on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, at the Durham Rescue Mission’s Center for Hope (1201 E Main St).

The Christmas Community and Toy Give-Away Event will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, at the same location.

Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away. We need approximately 250 turkeys and 250 hams to carry us through the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Please help us provide for those who are homeless and hurting in our community.

Together, with the help of caring people in the Triangle area, we can make Thanksgiving special for those who are homeless and hurting.

If you would like to purchase a turkey or ham, you may drop it off at 1201 E Main St or 507 E Knox St by Tuesday, November 20th, make a donation below, or call (919) 688-9641, x 5024.
