Tuesday, December 1, 2015, is #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back to our community!
For every $2.05 you contribute to the Durham Rescue Mission, you’re helping to provide a meal for one of the over 400 men, women, and children staying at the Durham Rescue Mission! There are several ways you can give back:
- This year, PayPal is sponsoring a Guinness World Records attempt for the most money raised in 24 hours on #Giving Tuesday. You can participate in this record attempt and give to the Durham Rescue Mission by donating with PayPal. In addition to the world record attempt, PayPal will donate 1% of your donation of $10 or more to the Durham Rescue Mission beginning December 1st through the 31st.
- Another great option for shopping online is AmazonSmile, a simple and automatic way for you to support the Durham Rescue Mission at no cost to you. - With Christmas just around the corner, you can get involved by donating unwrapped toys for our Christmas Community Dinner and Toy Giveaway on December 23, 2015! You can drop off your toy donations at 1201 E Main St or 507 E Knox St in Durham or have them shipped to us.
