Men's Division

Homeless men have been coming to the Durham Rescue Mission for over thirty years.  Here, they are finding “a helping hand up - not a hand out."  We are a working mission: if you are able, you must work if you want to eat.

Those who come to us can expect to find a Bible based organization providing:

  • safe shelter 
  • three hot meals a day 
  • clothing
  • Biblical counsel to help overcome addictions and other problems
  • financial planning
  • vocational training
  • employment assistance

The Men's Division regularly has 125 beds. During severe weather or an emergency, we can safely shelter 160 men.
