How We Are Funded

The mission is a faith-based, non-profit ministry supported solely by tax-deductible donations. Individuals, churches, businesses, civic groups, organizations, and foundations have supported, and continue to support, the Durham Rescue Mission. We do not receive any local, state, or federal government funding.

Pray that residents will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and grow in knowledge and in truth!
Pray for the many mission residents with health problems.
Pray for the strongholds of addictions to be broken.
Pray for new facilities that we need in order to help more people.
Pray that we will reach our financial goal for Operation Daily Bread 2006.
Pray for work to be completed on the Good Samaritan Inn.
