Report for 2004

In 2004, the Durham Rescue Mission provided: 58,969 nights' lodging, 181,318 hot meals, 200,408 articles of clothing, over 2,800 toys for children, and school supplies for over 2,600 children. All this without taking one tax dollar from government at any level!

Based on these figures, it is estimated that the value of the services of the Durham Rescue Mission to our community was $3,193,231.00. We praise the Lord for what He has accomplished through the Durham Rescue Mission. The number we rejoice about most are the 397 souls who received Jesus Christ as their savior. “I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works.” Psalms 9:1
