Christmas Toy Give-A-Way
On December 24th, the Durham Rescue Mission hosts an Annual Christmas Toy Give-Away. We serve a free traditional christmas meal with all the trimmings, and give away free clothing and free groceries. Each year, every child who attends the event will receive toys to make their Christmas extra special.
If you are in need of help during the holidays or are homeless, we invite you to come join us at 1201 East Main Street, Durham, North Carolina, for our Christmas Community Dinner.
Want to Help?
If you would like to provide Christmas toys for the less-fortunate children of the community, please call 919-688-9641, for more information about how you can help.
Without the financial and prayer support of our friends, the Durham Rescue Mission would have a difficult time helping those men, women, and children who come to us each day. If you would like to become a prayer partner, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to help with a financial gift, please donate now.
We currently have all the volunteer positions filled for our Christmas event. If you would like to help please consider donating toys for our Toy Give-Away or you can volunteer to help with our Annual Easter Community Dinner. Volunteer opportunities include: organizing toys; setting up the event site; cooking the meal; serving the meal; giving away clothing; giving away groceries; and cleaning up after the event.
