Urgent Need for Canned Food

This year we have had a record number of men, women, and children at the Durham Rescue Mission daily. Due to the increase we have struggled to keep our pantry replenished. We urgently need to restock!

We cannot accomplish this task alone. We are asking friends, volunteers, and donors to consider organizing canned or non-perishable food drives to help provide for the hungry and homeless at the Mission. Every canned or non-perishable item you donate will provide hope and help to our residents.

Suggestions:

• Ask your church to host a food drive.
• Ask your fellow employees to bring canned or non-perishable food items to work.
• Ask your friends, civic club members, or your neighbors to         donate canned or non-perishable food items.
