Men's Programs
God has used this ministry to "mend shattered lives."
Homeless men have been coming to the Durham Rescue Mission since 1974 seeking help and many have found the help they needed. We are thankful to be able to provide food, shelter, and much more. Our goal is to help men learn how much God loves them and then help them gain the biblical insight they need to live a productive life in Christ.
We are a working mission, which means everyone helps with the chores around the campus.
Those men who come to us for help can expect to find a Bible-based organization providing:
- safe shelter
- three meals a day
- clean clothing
- biblical counsel to help overcome addictions and other problems
- financial planning
- vocational training
- employment assistance
The Men's Division regularly has 125 beds. During severe weather or an emergency, we can safely shelter 160 men.
If you know a man in need of help, please call (919) 688-9641, ext. 5034.
